Wie schon einige richtig bemerkt haben, sind die Chessmaster-Personalities Handycap-Stufen des Chessmaster, wobei "Roxy" auf meinem Rechner mit einer Spielstärke von 1996 Elo-Punkten angegeben wird.
Wie gesagt, es war nur zu Testzwecken, ob das Ding funktionstüchtig ist.
Dem Beschenkten hat das Present gefallen - und das ist ja das wichtigste!

Mein MMVI hat auch schon einige Partien gegen Mephisto Genius 99, ( ist wohl eine Genius 5 Variante?) auf 1Ghz Duron gewonnen. Allerdings hatte ich beim Genius die Hashtables deaktiviert, was anscheinend sehr viel ausmacht. Zumindestens hat der Genius dadurch sehr nachgelassen. Und man sieht daran auch, wie die Programme durch "technische Hilfsmittel" Elomäßig hoch geputscht werden. Anderseits hatte der Genius schon immer Probleme mit den gewalttätigen Fritz Programmen, alias Morsch, alias MMVI?, auch mit Hashtables., wie einige frühere Tests von mir ergeben hatten, wo der Genius mit 350 Mhz gegen einen 90 Mhz Fritz seine liebe Not hatte.

"Roxy" spielt hier wie ein Weltmeister. Also doch nicht so abwegig, dass der Explorer Pro mit Mehrturm noch verloren hat. "Roxy" spielt phasenweise bärnstark!
