Preis hab ich noch keinen gefunden. Aber da ja praktisch ein Smartphone/Tablet mit eingebaut ist, werden sie sich das schon ordentlich bezahlen lassen.

Die Felder werden wohl ähnlich beleuchtet wie die DGT-Bretter (Centaur, Pegasus). Nur nicht als runde Kreise sondern als eckiger "Rahmen" um das Feld. Sieht man so zumindest in dem Video.

Und sie werben mit den Drittanbieter-Apps. Somit sind wohl die Android-Apps mit drin bzw. installierbar. Aber auch die Graham-Treiber werden aufgeführt. Das müsste ja bedeutet, dass zusätzlich auch ein Zugriff über einen PC möglich wird.

Klingt alles verdammt gut, finde ich. Und Chessnut hat ja bei dem Air (wo ich noch extrem skeptisch war und nicht mitgemacht hatte) und beim Pro jetzt meines Erachtens gut geliefert. Im Gegensatz zu manch anderem Projekt.

Ich hatte mein Brett auch direkt um 16:00 bestellen können und direkt sehen können, dass es ganz schön abgeht.

Vorgestern hatte ich noch eine Info von Chessnut bekommen, dass sich das Display drehen wird, wenn man z.B. mit schwarz spielt. Das soll evtl. auch durch eine HW-Taste unterstützt werden. Bei Chess Noob sieht man das auch schon auf YouTube (per SW). Was man auf dem Chess Noob-Video ([YOUTUBE]ahb0KEA5AFE[/YOUTUBE] ) auch sieht, ist, dass die Programmierer daran arbeiten, das Brett mit Chessable ans Laufen zu kriegen, was vielleicht auch mal ganz interessant sein kann. In jedem Falle scheint da noch einiges drin zu stecken.

Yes, the board will have a BluetoothLE connection from the PC but not a USB connection. My driver will need a bit of an update to allow for the coloured LEDs but otherwise should work fine with Fritz, Chessbase, LucasChess and so on.

I will make sure that when connected to my driver Chessnut disable any tutor or help functions so that there is no chance of cheating on Playchess or FICS!

is this a confirmed information from Chessnut, that the Evo supports Bluetooth? I haven't been able to find any reference to this anywhere, neither in the official specs nor in the answers to related questions in the Facebook group or in the Kickstarter forum. Only Wifi support is specified there.
