He is found as David Lindsay in chessprogramming wiki (https://www.chessprogramming.org/David_Lindsay or https://web.archive.org/web/20180821...avid%20Lindsay)

These could be wrong, but DL is also known as inventor for Boris Diplomat chessmen font, and the patent can be seen here:
