Quare off ist definitiv kein Schachcopmputer sonder "nur" ein Ein-/Ausgabe-Brett wie DGT. Alles schachliche läuft auf eine Smart Phone oder ggf. PC. Interessant wäre die Anbindung an Arena oder andere GUI per UCI-Interface, dann kann man auch Messtiny u. Ä. damit nutzen.

Ich habe so ein Teil bestellt und werde einen UCI-Treiber versuchen, wie bei den OSA oder Novag Compis, auch versuchen wir das Brett in das Mysticum-Projekt zu integrieren.

Das klingt ja interessant - freue mich, welche Aktivitäten das Ding auslöst, BEVOR es überhaupt auf dem Markt ist!

Ich bin sicher, dass das Onlinespiel auch von den BIG PLAYERS (FICS, chess.com ...) unterstützt wird - von ChessBase wird es aber (meiner Meinung nach) sicher NICHT unterstützt werden.
Wenn es erst einmal die ios/android app gibt werden sicher viele Engines/Eröffnungsbücher verfügbar sein. Halte auch jede Wette, dass Arena es unterstützen wird.

Es ist ein automatisch ziehendes Brett. Aber in Verbindung mit einem Handy WIRD es eben zu einem selbstziehenden Schachcomputer, ganz einfach ...

Auch ich habe gepledged. Von 'bestellen' kann gar keine Rede sein, immerhin ist es Goodwill, ob man so ein Teil bekommt oder nicht. Aber hoffen wir mal . . .

Auch die Unterstützung bleibt abzuwarten. Ich fürchte eher das diese anfangs recht rudimentär und spartanisch ausfallen wird und erst später heranreift - wenn überhaupt.

Letztendlich ist es ein schöner Gag, um mal Gäste zu beeindrucken . . .
