Egbert was right, Sparc 20 MHz (20 chess mips) = 68030/66 MHz (20.9 chess mips) and the 68020 of the V6 = 5.6 chess mips.
then, the Sparc would be 3.5 times faster approximately.
finally, it seems to me that the spracklen have not changed the strength of their program. they are just different.
But this match between these two programs will teach us even more!
