Es funktionierte gar nicht, MAME emuliert kein 1806 CPU.

Hallo Franz,
danke für die neuen Artworks, sind sehr gelungen ... inkl. dem „Mephisto“ Schriftzug bei den Mephi I & II Brettern.

Die Fotos sind trotzdem nicht nutzlos ... vielleicht kann sie jemand gebrauchen ... ggf. mache ich noch mehr, dann haben wir wenigstens von allen Modellen neue für die Wiki.

Jetzt noch MM I, Ib und den Mirage, dann haben wir alle alten Mephisto Module komplett. MM VI, Senator und Maggi werden wir ja wohl nie bekommen, ebenso den Atlanta ... dann wäre das „erlebbare Mephisto Museum“ wirklich perfekt.

falls Dir das Holzbrett beim IIIer nicht so gefällt - ich hoffe Du hast entdeckt, daß man bei allen 3 Geräten verschiedene Artworks auswählen kann!?
Natürlich nicht, sie kamen nur für mich zu spät, weil ich gerade erst mit meinen Artworks fertig war, als ich Deine neuen Fotos gesehen habe, und nochmals die ganze Arbeit wollte ich mir wirklich mehr antun.

neues Gesamtpaket für CB-Emu mit allen letzten Änderungen ist online:
- alte Roma16-Version
- neue Portorose32-Version 1.03 (im Bios-Menü)
- Mephisto MM I vorbereitet (funktioniert noch nicht)
- Geschwindigkeitsproblem beim Mephisto III/100MHz gelöst
- neue Artworks für Mephisto I/II/III (External/Realistic wählbar)
- Anpassung diverser Plugins an die letzten Änderungen

Nein, es benutzte 1806 opcodes.
Hast jemand der MMI "B" rom dump?

In fact, this is the 1st 1806 program I've seen (not just for chess), it's not that easy to emulate if we only have a single program that uses this CPU. Having the MMI B version would literally double the amount of available data.

mir ist schon klar, dass ich eher die Ausnahme bin, aber die ESB 3000 Version ist mir tatsächlich lieber als das Holzbrett, wenngleich das auch sehr schön ist.

Und der 100 MHz Mephi III ist eine schöne Ergänzung zum entspannten Selbstspielen.

Wo wir bei diesen Geräten sind: Gab oder gibt es für den Glasgow eigentlich ein alternatives Layout bzw. eines mit Modular Brett? Ich meine, dass ich irgendwann mal eines hatte?!

Das derzeitige Layout ist doch sehr unscharf, vor allem das Brett ... vor allem, wenn man davor mit dem genialen IIIer Layout gespielt hat.

are you sure, you have the „A Version“? I only ask because it is very rare ... more than 90% are the „B Version“ ... I have both, I must see if Micha can read out them if I meet him next time ...

PS. There is a third module with that CPU, the Mephisto Mirage ... that is almost the Mephisto II ESB program with the 1806 CPU and more speed ...

The one from Berger had 2 EPROMS, which makes it version A I suppose.
