Alternative Lexibook ChessLight Pieces
I have always liked the Lexibook idea of their move indication for their ChessLight computer but I have always hated their choice of pieces for two reasons. Firstly they look cheap and nasty and secondly it is hard to distinguish which of the black pieces are illuminated when it is blacks turn to move due to the transparency being very poor.
To overcome these two problems I purchased another transparent set off eBay with a better transparency and glued their base to another set that I had for years doing nothing. The result in my opinion is quite a lot better visually for both cosmetic and usable reasons. I hope that you like them? ![]() |
