Better would be Crafty and ProDeo! ![]() But if i was asked, i would prefer Crafty; isn't it more interesting to have programmers/engines, that are not contained in a chess computer? We already have so many Schroeder-computers (Risc I/II, Polgar, Milano, SuMo II...) I don't know ProDeo: If you say, that it is totally different from Ed's former programs and plays an interesting and active chess, then it might be ok for me too! best, Robert |

![]() HI Ruud and Robert and Stefan
actually after Pro Deo placed a surprising second at Leiden i asked Ed Schroeder in the CCC forum if he would be interested to have his program used in the Res Ed posts there quite often he didn't seem to take my question too seriously and i think this would be for Ruud to pursue and not me personally i would love to see Pro Deo in the Res Crafty is also a very good idea but like Robert i will agree to any new programs in the Res just as long as there is more then one it is very important that the Res will have more then one program for historical purposes the Fidelity Elite Premiere is the only dedicated computer to make this claim of more then one program so and we cant have that.. better will be three programs so we can then all say we have the only dedicated computer ever released to contains more then two programs also i really want to thank Ruud Robert And Steffen for posting their messages in English as well as German then i can understand a little better to all of you i say.. ![]() Historical Regards Steveb |

Please let me know if you would like this and whether Crafty is a good engine.. Ruud Martin I would very much like to use Crafty in Resurrection. A version of Hiarcs would be wonderful. Is there any possibility to be able to change programs on the fly. That is, hold a position in memory whilst switching to a new program? That would be a great feature. All the best Mike |

![]() hi Stefan
while i have only single issues of all of the CCR Reports for all of the years i am watching Ebay USA ..sooner or later issues will appear and i will grab them for you CCR Regards Steve this would be really great. I received some issues from a chessfriend in the US, and I found them very interesting. It gives you a different view (I have all the issues of the German magazine CSS - Computer Schach und Spiele) and in many cases very interesting new background information. Thanks again Stefan |
