Dear Chess Friends,
I came across some web sites that gave me an idea for getting parts for older SciSys/Saitek chess computers.

Radio Shack, an electronics company in the United States, sold SciSys chess computers under the "Radio Shack" or "Tandy" brand name. In many cases, the computer was the same or similar. For instance, the Scisys "Simulato", a 5MHz computer, was sold as the "Radio Shack 2150", but with a 3MHz processor.

Radio Shack keeps manuals for many of their products online at their web site, www.radioshack.com. In addition, they sometimes have a parts list, and you can order parts through them.

I found this web site:

and scrolled down and saw computer that looked a lot like a Turbostar or a Turbo 16K. I also saw one that looked like a Simulato.
