Just 20 days ago, we launched Square Off on Kickstarter to connect with its amazing community. And boy did we! Thanks to backers like you, we have received pledges worth over 100,000 euros, about 250% of our goal. Now, when your support has almost made this dream a reality, we are faced with the toughest challenge in our three year long journey. As Square Off’s valued backer, we believe you have the right to know this first.
While creating the Kickstarter campaign, our team member Alessandro had linked his personal account. Recently, our legal team raised a flag regarding the collection of the substantial Kickstarter funding in his bank account. The only way to tackle this was to link our company’s account with the campaign. We immediately got in touch with the Kickstarter team regarding this, but unfortunately, as per their rules, we need to re-start the campaign.
So the campaign is now re-launched on Kickstarter, this time by Infivention Technologies (the startup behind Square Off) but this time for a shorter duration to ensure that our delivery timelines are not compromised and you receive your board on time. The current Kickstarter campaign is cancelled and it goes without saying that no money will be charged on your card.
Yes, we have to start from ground zero, but the team’s enthusiasm is still the same and their determination to deliver the greatest experience to you rock solid. It is understandable that you may have queries, and to answer them all, our founders would like to connect with you in real time on Kickstarter Live. We will share the link and time with you soon.
