Even for anything else than the H8 bug, taking back a bad move to check whether a second try would do better, is as well "cheating with the process" - changing thinking time or hash or pondering condition can indeed eventually lead to some another move. There is of course no issue doing that during post-mortem analysis!

Hallo Eric, wenn das Gerät mit dem H8 Bug am gewinnen ist, könnte man vielleicht ein Remis geben. Stand das andere Gerät auf Gewinn, dann bekommt es den Punkt.
Aber wie man es auch macht, das Ergebnis würde verfälscht. Oder man wertet die Partie gar nicht. Wenn da 50 Partien gespielt werden, macht das auch nicht viel aus. Wie oft tritt dieser Bug den in Erscheinung?
Hello Eric, if the device with the H8 bug is winning, maybe you could give a draw. If the other device was winning, it gets the point.
But no matter how you do it, the result would be falsified. Or you don't score the game at all. If 50 games are played, it doesn't matter much. How often does this bug appear?
