Sorry no Udo, as such a retry will always result in the very same bug move played, therefore your idea is no simplification; just a loss of time. The H8 bug is very stubborn, you can trust me.
Even for anything else than the H8 bug, taking back a bad move to check whether a second try would do better, is as well "cheating with the process" - changing thinking time or hash or pondering condition can indeed eventually lead to some another move. There is of course no issue doing that during post-mortem analysis!
