Yes, that is something I used to do but for some reason forgot this time. Funnily, I have made a note in the current game because I thought it strange that the CGP2024 stayed in book slightly longer despite both machines set to Classic book and allegedly both machines have identical books. I'll have to perform some tests after the game.
