round 2 offers an opportunity to Mephisto II "brikett" to start scoring, as it has to play with the Conic Computer Chess: with close to 250 CElo points more, the brikett should at least score 1.5 points.
Actually it achieves the full 2 points, but it wasn't that easy: playing with black pieces in the first game, the brikett couldn't get any substantial advantage during around 30 moves; even suffering from a bad position in its King's corner. Fortunately for the Brikett, the Conic failed to a fork from a naughty Pawn, which will toggle the game in favor of the Mephi II.
In the second game, the brikett playing as White gets out of the opening phase with a strong center domination; both devices castle long, the game opens and the Mephisto II center Pawns apply pressure - one of them will later promote.
