Hi, good evening all,
with zero points from the first round, the Novag Constellation Expert badly needs to recover. It is an easy match for him, as once Octo and Delta-1 fought together, the only opponent left as well with no points is... the Fidelity Chess Challenger 7. A piece of cake for the Expert...
In the first game, The Expert with light pieces commits a mistake on move 16, but the CC7 is (of course) overwhelmed by the position and commits a much more bad error in return. The rest of the game is a health walk for the Expert.
Second game: a very usual error from the CC7, often occuring from weak chess computers: after a piece capture that should have been treated in a simple way as an exchange thru an immediate re-capture, the CC7 instead threats another piece. Well, two opponent's pieces hanging should do the trick? No, no...
