As the sun came out over Cracow, I grabbed my camera and set up a session - a comparison between the Mephisto Phoenix board and Chess Genius Exclusive







I also decided to weigh both boards. Perhaps my kitchen weighing scale is not one of outstanding precision, it shows one difference in the heaviness of the Phoenix board compared to the Exclusive:





I also compared the figures - in the case of the whites, apart from the felt, I did not note any differences:





It's a different story with the blacks - the Phoenix ones seem a bit faded - here the difference is apparent:





The last two photos are no longer a comparison, but a problem I wrote about previously - in my Mephisto Phoenix set, unfortunately two of the risers size and appearance stand out from the others - below are two photos illustrating the differences - on the left a 'mutant', on the right a normal sized riser:
